Digital Art

I really love making art on my ipad.

I remember seeing a David Hockney exhibit at the Royal Academy which introduced me to the idea.

I often have a story in mind when I am drawing these characters. Please scroll down to see some examples.

“Time-passer” for a long car trip — I liked this and decided to develop it further, since I liked the aesthetic and wanted it as my homescreen.

Drawing in my own style after a referenced artist that inspires me.

Here I was practicing different lighting in a scene setting that aligns with a story I have floating around in my head.

More practicing of dynamic poses with a character I know how to draw — this time in a different scene/setting, for practice.

A drawing of a familiar character in a more dynamic (yet odd) pose to correspond with a story I know.

Realistic practice “on topic” with the theme of my art GCSE to familiarise myself further with the subject matter while adding something different to make it more unique and consistent with my own style.

Drawing a less familiar character outside of her element to practice lighting and to develop the story for the character.
