Koi — over the holidays (2021-2022), I spent a lot of time painting koi in various ways. This one is on a repurposed canvas but I like the shapes and the colours.
Over the holidays, I experimented with painting “in reverse” on glass, using some picture frames my family had around the house. Continuing the koi theme, this is an example of my painting in reverse. Apologies, it’s hard to get a good photo without reflections when shooting through the glass, which explains some of the slightly unusual reflections.
